Superfchem Consupack Company was originally started more than three decades ago in Bangalore, for the manufacture of Detergent solids and Powders. One more manufacturing centre for detergents was set up in Ranipet Tamil Nadu in 1989.
An additional facility for making Aerosol products like Room fresheners, Body DEO, Touch-up-Spray Paints, Autocare products, VpI Corrosion Inhibitor Sprays was set up in the year 2007 to cater to the Growing Homecare and Industrial segments for such products.
The company was originally promoted by B.SETHURAMAN a post graduate Chemical Engineer with varied senior managerial experience in large companies like Karnataka Soaps and Detergents(makers of the world famous Mysore Sandal Soaps) and Haryana Detergents Ltd.
B.Saiprasad an experienced science graduate technocrat with vast experience in foods and allied lines and B.Ramesh a graduate with varied sales and marketing experience and B.Mohan an economics post graduate with varied commercial experience, are also actively involved as Directors of the Group from early stages of the company.
The company mainly was involved in PRIVATE LABELLING for Multi nationals like Hindustan Unilever Ltd. Ballarpur Industries Ltd. Mysore sales Internationals Ltd. Karnataka Soaps and Detergents Ltd. Etc. and has produced thousands of Tonnes of detergents for both Domestic and Export market on behalf of these companies in the last three decades.
The company continues to manufacture detergent products and supply to domestic and industrial Laundry customers, under its brand name “GLO”. The company can also manufacture and supply Detergents and Aerosols in Customers' Own Brands.
The company has repacked “Halls” lozenges for Cadbury India Ltd., for a number of years at its Peenya facility.
The company also set up the first Cookie making factory in India, “Unibic Biscuits India Pvt., Ltd.,” Bangalore, in 2004 ,on behalf of an Australian Cookie manufacturing company called “UNIBIC BISCUITS PTY LTD.,”Australia. The entire project was commissioned from scratch and managed by our group from 2004 to 2009.
In the year 2007, the company went in for a diversification and set up a plant in Bangalore for formulating and filling of Aerosol products.
